James Rishky
Managing Director
James oversees internal operations for Third Rail, including fundraising, development, marketing, public relations, and financial oversight.
James began his role as Managing Director in January 2012, bringing with him several years of experience in live entertainment production and cultural entertainment marketing and management.
Before joining Third Rail, he was Marketing Director for Literary Arts in Portland, where he played a significant role in audience growth for their lecture series, Portland Arts & Lectures, and helped establish financial and collaborative ties within the community. Prior to that he worked for the Institute for Science, Engineering and Public Policy where he handled the marketing plans for numerous public lectures by physicist Dr. Stephen Hawking. From 1997 to 2001, he served as Company Manager for the Portland, Cleveland, and Baltimore productions of Hey City Theatre's touring show, Tony and Tina's Wedding, presented in partnership with Broadway Across America.
